Happy Holidays!

Posted on: December 26, 2017

Whatever you celebrate, I was thinking of you and wanted to send well wishes your way while I share a little of what’s been coming up for me this holiday season. <3

As I was enjoying the holiday with my my family, which includes my little niece, Lake, I kept thinking about the the kind of woman she might grow up to be.

What will she feel most passionate about?

What will she discover about her purpose?

Will she be confident that she can make a difference?

These questions lead me to thinking about the kind of woman I’m choosing to be, and what that teaches not just Lake, but all of the other women in my life and community.

How do you teach the people you love how to shine brightly?

How do you help others to believe in themselves?

My Mom and my sister are women who have made such a difference in my life. They both show me what making a difference and being confident look like. They’ve shown me how to stand up for myself. How to have boundaries. How to love.

My Dad taught me about true kindness, and how to be selfless. He taught me how to be a good listener, too, and so much more.

My husband? He’s taught me patience and unconditional love.

And everyone in my family has said to me at one time or another that one of the most powerful ways to help others, is to lead by example.

You came to mind next.

With the New Year approaching, it’s almost impossible to look into the future a little and think about what the upcoming year holds for you.

As I feel overwhelmingly grateful for the opportunities that I have, I feel the responsibility of making the most from them as well.

The responsibility is to myself, but a huge part of my job is believing in you FIERCELY too, and asking you to step up this year, along with me.

What’s your mission?

What’s your difference to make that I know the new year will have you pumped to charge on with?

You’re always teaching someone you love about what’s possible for them when you live each day making the difference you were born to make.

Share your desires for 2018 with me. I’d LOVE to hear what’s in store for you, and everyone who experiences your amazing work.

To the happiest of holidays and a wonderful New Year for you,

xo,

Mel <3
