How often do you feel like you really DO something about your dreams and aspirations?
How many times have you been excited about what you’d like to create this year, but the daily steps that are required — the day in and day out commitment — just doesn’t seem to happen?
I’m a strong believer of all of the “inner work” that this industry is always fired up to discuss.
Yeah, it’s fun to talk about believing in yourself. It’s powerful, too.
But it’s also about making the moves.
Today, on this so very important day where we celebrate Martin Luther King and the incredible love and true leadership that he demonstrated, I am reminded just how important it is for our actions to line up with our words, and what we say is important to us.
My sister and I were on the phone last week and we discussed that today isn’t just a holiday, but a day to be in action. Just as every day should be when it comes not just to life in general or business, but when it comes to life and business that is just, honest, and equitable for all.
That’s where my team and I are headed.
MLK said, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
My action today is to show up and do the work. If you’d like to join me, I’ll be on a training with Milagros Phillips called “Racism to Wholeness” @ 12pmEST.
You can check out the event and others that are upcoming at her Eventbrite link here.
Keep moving forward,
